Hi, I’m Naomi. Originally from The Netherlands, I’ve now made Australia my home. Creativity has been my thing for as long as I can remember, but crafts were never my strong suit. I tried it all: scrapbooking, painting, embroidery… It either ended with paint on the carpet and me swearing off anything involving glitter. When I discovered graphic design, it was love at first Ctrl+Z. Suddenly creativity didn’t mean chaos, it meant clarity.
I fine-tuned my skills at Shillington College in Melbourne, soaking up all the design wisdom. I jumped into the design world with in-house gigs for various businesses, but a couple of years in, I realised I wanted more freedom and variety in my work. And that’s how Studio Liquorice was born.

Like good liquorice, bold brand design isn’t for everyone. The right people will get it, and keep coming back for more.
